MY PROBLEM: Every time I move from one zone to the other, I have to manually connect to the new zone. They are set to 'automatically connect'. I never had to do this w. my old AT&T router and extender. QUESTIONS: am I using the correct type of 'Netgear Extender' w. the Nighhawk 6E Router? MY EXTENDER INFO: NETGEAR EXTENDER: AC1200 Dual Band Model: EX6120 ROUTER: Nighthawk 6E Router RAXE300 AX37800 BROADBAND CONNECTOR AT&T Router = set to 'passthrough' Model: Arris BGW210-700

The EX6120 isn't a mesh extender. meaning it doesn't have the smart roaming capabilities that a mesh extender would.
It tends to be "sticky" in that devices don't roam as efficiently as the mesh devices.
