Name No Longer Can Be Found On Regular Wifi Searches
Had this since last October, allowed it to use the same password as host network. Worked fine, any device could see it, but not log on without the p/w.
Last week, found out the host network's owner has been giving out his p/w, and neighbors have been using my signal since it's better than the original, so I changed the name and password. Left the "Broadcast name" option to 'On'.
But now most of my devices can no longer scan and find the signal! I manually added the new name to my tablet, and it found and accepted it, as did my Roku2. But my desktop (which was the main user of the previous name) can't locate it even when input manually, nor my laptop or phone. All three are fairly new.
How in blazes did I manage to screw up such a simple change? Any help would be much appreciated.
