Need major help! EX6120
Okay so I'm really really confused as to what has gone on, I purchased this at the end of August and since then iv never had it working. The day I got the extender delivered I tried the rout of connecting through a web browser which seemed simple enough and was all fine untill I had completed all of the steps and then it said along the lines of it seems you are not connected to your router, I tried going over steps again but came to no conclusion other than the extender was connected to the router and it was showing both 5G and 2G bands but both bands were not connected to the internet. So, I contacted the support team on that day and I went on holiday and if I'm honest I forgot I bought the thing. Well I have come back to it today and now I'm in more of a mess than before. There is still the same issue, I have now tried to connect through WPS but that didn't work and not only that, even if I factory reset the decide it is still connecting to the router like it did before, both bands available but not connected to the internet. I'm now seriously confused as to what to do and not only that, I came to contact the support team again and actually wait for a reply this time but I put the serial number in and it sais that the device I have has already been taken by another Netgear account! Now I'm guessing this is due to me contacting them about it before but I am using the same email address and password so I am confused as to how the device is not connected to my account (j know it's the same email because I only use 1). This is now my last option to get help!! Anyone got ideas please?
