Net gear ex6100 extender Not working

Trying to set up this product using wps button. All appears correct ( all relevant lights lit) but when I try to connect my iPad to the internet I get a unable to connect message! The extender seems to show that it's connected to my router & that my iPad is connected to the extender ( relevant light lit) but it refuses to work. Any ideas would be great

I would make sure you router is using WPA2 security and I would try to factory reset the extender and connect it again to the router.
