NetGear Genie WiFi Range Extender Model #EX6100
I upgraded our modem from Comcast, our ISP. Do I need to do anything to my NetGear Genie WiFi Range Extender Model EX6100 or will it be a seamless transition because I am still using the same ISP and computer? The NetGear device's lights are still green when plugged in and my computer has not prompted me to do anything. Thanks.

Wrong forum.
If you have the same SSID and passphrase on the new router, you may be fine. I'd consider resetting the extender and set it up fresh again, just to be sure.

Hello AuntMimi
You will want to factory reset the extender and do the setup again for the new router.
