Why doesn't extender offer 5G to devices trying to set up through as it once did. It is selected with 2G on settings page of www.mywifiext.net. I recently moved to a new home and brought extender with me. It functions with 2G.

Have you tried to factory reset the device by holding the reset button for 10 seconds then try the setup again.
