Netgear AC1750 Nest WiFi troubleshooting

Hi! We just purchased a Google Nest WiFi but have the xfinity/Netgear WiFi cable modem router. When I tried to connect, Google Home isn’t able to locate WiFi. Is google WiFi compatible with Netgear?
