Netgear EX6120 loses router connection

Hi,

I have a Netgear EX6120 wifi range extender, It has been running for months but now it loses router connection (router light swhitched off) , if I restart it it connect with the router and all works again but in 15 minutes more or less it loses router connection again.

 Do you know how to solve it?

1. what router are you connecting it to? 

2. what firmware is on the extender? 

3. what method of setup did you use? Wps or installation assistant? 

4. have you tried changing wifi channels on the primary router in case its wireless interference?
