Netgear EX700: can’t see NETGEAR_EXT
I am trying to set up the EX7700 as an access point.
I have already set it up successfully as a range extender connected to the router via Wifi, and I am now trying to connect it using Ethernet cable.
I am following these instructions:
https://kb.netgear.com/26078/Install-the-EX7000-as-an-Access-Point
I cannot see NETGEAR_EXT in the list of available networks.
I have registered the device and have a case number with Netgear support, but I get kicked off when I try to contact them via phone or chat.
Thank you.

Re: Netgear EX700: can’t see NETGEAR_EXT
If you log into the router and find the extenders IP address, you can log into and see what you have the ssid set as.

Re: Netgear EX7700: can’t see NETGEAR_EXT
FYI I was able to connect to the NETGEAR_EXT after resetting the extender via the reset button (paperclip).
Eventually got to talk the tech support after getting booted off three times and being on hold for a couple of hours.
Extender works great as an access point, covering this huge backyard and servicing the granny flat.
