Netgear Extender EX6110 and WD MyCloud
I've just bought a AC1200 EX6110. However, when my laptop connects to the other networks created, I can no longer access my WD MyCloud library. Rather defeats the object of it as I needed the extender so I would be able to play music at the bottom of my garden. Desperately need help, in laymans terms as I am no boffin and so far the things I've read have made little sense. I believe I need to do something with a static IP in the settings and attempted this but clearly I'm not doing something right!

Re: Netgear Extender EX6110 and WD MyCloud
Hi @CJTOMMO55,
Welcome to the community!
1. To confirm, have you gone through the setup procedure for the extender?
2. Are your device/s able to go online when connected to the extender's network?
3. If you have access to your router's user interface, does the extender show up as one of the connected device?
Regards,
Dexter
