Netgear Genie shows multiple versions of my home wifi
Hello all,
let me start by saying I am no tech savant, as my question will likely reveal, so please use layman terms and know I really appreciate the help.
I purchased a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 WIFI USB adapter USB 3.0 Dual Band (Model A7000) to increase my internet speed for my 2013 Macbook Pro. I am on the other end of my house relative to the router. I Bootcamped my Macbook (running Windows 10 education and MacOS Catalina) and primarily needed the speed boost for a better online gaming experience (Rocket League).
The product seems to be working well but when I open its software (NETGEAR A7000 Genie) I am presented with multiple (5) options all with the same name I have chosen for my home wifi . I choose the top one as I presume it is in order of signal strength but am wondering if perhaps there may be better options as clicking the details reveals each one is, in fact, different in some way. I will now list the 5 options with their 'details' attached. The first is the one I am using now and they are in order of appearance top to bottom from Genie program.
I have no idea what any of the following means and could not begin to guess why there are multiple for one home wifi router. Any clarification is sincerely appreciated!
