The R6900P will work with any of those. The whole purpose of the triband is it reserves one of its bands just for talking with the router.

I've used the EX7300 and the EX8000. You're comparing dual band to triband.
I like the ex8000 because of the wireless backhaul that it uses. It tends to keep speeds more consistent with less latency.
But the ex7300 works well too for being a dual band extender.
