Netgear WiFi Extender EX3700 problem connecting to EE WiFi 6 fibre broadband router in the UK

Hi Folks,

I have recently had fibre broadband installed in the house by EE in the UK. I believe the WiFi router is WiFi 6. my Netgear EX 3700 extender keeps disconnecting from the router. Does anyone know whether this model of extender is suitable for WiFi 6 please?
