Netgear WiFi extender AC1200 EX 6110

Ive got a new WIFI router  that is working ok but when i connected my existing wifi extender to it and try to log onto it via my iphone it asks for a password. How do i find out what my password is as ive forgotten. I already had to change it back to factory settings to connect it to my new router.

Are you setting it up using wps? The installation wizard? 

What router are you connecting it to?
