something to keep in mind that not many realize is that standard dual/single band extenders do drop throughput (speed) 50%. Reason why is they have to send/recieve from router---extender and then extender---devices and they can't do both at once.
the triband extenders are faster because they dedicate 1 of the 2 5ghz chips just for router---extender communication.
