New wifi network

I Successfully connected my netgear range extender to my networkmin the past following the quick start directions.  But now I want to connect to a new network.  How do I zero out the existing information to start again.  

Specifically, I do not get the NETGEAR _EXT network as stated in the directions.

You can factory reset the extender. 

Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while the device is powered on. 

that should clear out everything and get you back to the defaults.
