Nighthawk AC1900 Wifi Range Extender NO INTERNET

I have just installed the Nighthawk AC1900 Wifi Range Extender EX 2700 and using my Samsung Cell it connects to my home router but says there is No Internet.

                     Try rebooting your router and extender to see if that helps.

That may work but unfortunately the extender is to be used to extend a signal from a router that I do not control and therefore cannot reboot it.

I see that this "No Internet" problem seems to be quite common.

In any event, I have returned the Netgear EX7000.
