Nighthawk AC2200 Ex7300 v2 New - power LED blinking - will not factory reset and cant connect to it

Hi I have a brand new out of the box Nighthawk AC2200 Ex7300 v2 and when I power it up I cannot get any further than a blinkngi green power LED light.
Will not factory reset.
Not visible on network over wifi or ethernet cable.
Kind of indicates a corrupt firmware according to forumes but I am unabel to access it to upgrade , any ideas ?

plemans, you are a great big legend, Guru doesn't even cover it.
Installed the firmware via tftp and now have full bars in the hammock.

just make sure you enable tftp
