Nighthawk C7000 AC1900 Modem/Router Lag Issues
I have the nighthawk ac1900 router/adapter model c7000. I just purchased the Nighthawk AC1900 Range Extender model EX7000-100NAS. Will this truly help in areas of my home that don't get the best or fastest wifi? If so, do I just plug the extender into the wall or do I also need an Ethernet cord from router to the extender for wifi? I'm not computer savvy, so I'm hoping it works and isn't complicated.

Re: Nighthawk C7000 AC1900 Modem/Router Lag Issues
If you have wifi dead spots (either completely unconnected, or low-performing), then the extender can help.
You put the extender in a spot that is in between the router and the dead area - so it can reach the router, and also reach the dead area.
Although you aren't technical, I think the user guide and the installation guide are still good places to start.
