Nighthawk Wifi Mesh Extender EX7000
New ignorant member here,
Just installed the EX7000 Mesh extender to my Nighthawk R7300 router. Devices appear to be communicating, however my wifi network does not show extended networks as an option to connect to? I was under the impression in the extender setup manual, there should be an extended range option for both my 2.4 and 5G networks.? What did I do wrong?

Re: Nighthawk Wifi Mesh Extender EX7000
You didn't do anything wrong.
The EX7000 is a mesh extender. Meaning if you set it up using its defaults or WPS, then it sets up as a mesh device.
That means it uses the same ssid as the router and devices roam between it and the router as needed.
