Nighthawk X6S AC3000 Tri-Band WiFi Range Extender (EX8000) Firmware update question?
Hi,
Do you know if there will be a Firmware update to support WPA2 in the 5Ghz band?
Cause for now i have to disable the 5Ghz band because the extender leave my 5Ghz band without password instead of using the one on my Actiontec T3200M router.
Thanks for answering this question!

Re: Nighthawk X6S AC3000 Tri-Band WiFi Range Extender (EX8000) Firmware update question?
- When EX8000 cannot connect to Telus ActionTec 3200M router with WPA2 security setting via 5G, can EX8000 connect to router with same security setting via 2.4G connection?
- Can other clients can connect to 3200M router with same WPA2 security setting via 5G?
- Can you connect to any other security type on the 5g?
- re-check 5G channel setting of 3200M router is not FCC DFS channel. Present EX8000 does not support FCC DFS channel.

Hi guys, thanks a lot for your help. It finaly worked! I used the Smart Setup instead of using the WPS connect, and that way the extender saw the 5ghz password and connect to it.
Have a nice day!
Thanks again!
