Nighthawk ex7000 slow outgoing speed?
Please help! I recently moved my office upstairs requiring an extender. I purchased the ex7000 Nighthawk yesterday. I followed the quick step and connect both bands via wps in a few minutes. All good right.
My work pc speed is horribly slow. I have a 250 mbps comcast connection, the nighthawk AC1900 extender and a TP-Link 802.11AC1900 network adapter. My work pc is directly a floor above the extender.
I pulled speedtests on each piece of HW. Everything is fine but my pc is only receiving 21 mbps. Adapter Driver is updated but more importantly my pc was flying before integrating this new extender. The extenders range indicators is full bars on both bands.
One question, thru the wps setup it doesn't show an addiitonal connection (i.e. main network-ext) just the single house wifi network. How do I know I am connected to the extender and not the main router? Should I set it up differently? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Canman93 - If you recently purchased your device, we recommend utilizing your 90 days of complimentary support using the link below.

Because you setup the extender via WPS, your extender will broadcast the same network name as your router. You can view your extender's connected devices list by referring to page 25 of the user manual linked below.
