Nighthawk - red lights then nothing
After deteriorating speeds, I reset my Nighthawk EX7000 (7 second press).
Now, it won't start up.
All that happens when I switch on is...
(1) all lights green for a couple of seconds
(2) the 2.4GHz, 5GHz and Device to Extender lights go red (all others off) and NETGEAR logo flashes.
(3) after about 30 seconds all lights off apart from randomly flash NETGEAR logo.
Is it DEAD?
I only bought it in Feb 2018 so I'd expect it to last a bit longer than 2.5 years.
Thanks
Paul

Re: Nighthawk - red lights then nothing
something might have gotten corrupted, you can try recoving with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash
