No DHCP Service? R7000->EX7000->Ubiquity LiteBeam -> AC1000
I'm trying to build a network that looks like this:
R7000 ->(wi-fi) EX7000 -> Ubiquity LiteBeam -> AC1000 ->Laptop
I THINK the problem is: I can't get the AC1000 to get an IP from the R7000: AC1000 says "no internet connection"....
VERY Interesting clue: I have been able to connect a laptop directly to the EX7000 via cable and get served an IP (10.0.0.13) and can surf with no problems. THEN, I disconnect the laptop, and then plug the EX7000 into the Ubiquity radio (same port), and then go to the other end of the radio link and plug the laptop into the the Ubiquity and can surf for hours. I'm still using the same 10.0.0.13 IP.
The problem comes when plugging the far-end ubiquity radio into the AC1000 upstream port and plugging the laptop into one of the AC1000 enet ports. Nothing...nada. I was hoping the AC1000 would grab a new IP from the R5000 router and reconnect. BTW, The router is configured to use DHCP to get it's upstream (to the EX7000, then R7000) IP address. That doesn't seem to happen.
The good news is the the laptop does get a new IP (10.0.0.3) from the AC1000, but that's it.
So, first, is this possible to do? And are there any specific settings I need to make? Many many thanks in advance for help or suggestions.

Re: No DHCP Service? R7000->EX7000->Ubiquity LiteBeam -> AC1000
Can you tell us more about the AC1000? What is the brand and model number? Is it a router?
If it's a router, then what is the IP subnet?
Similarly, what is the IP subnet configured on the R7000? It seems to me that there might a conflict.

Re: No DHCP Service? R7000->EX7000->Ubiquity LiteBeam -> AC1000
Thanks. Yes, the AC1000 is actually a Netgear R6080. Subnet is 255.255.255.0. I think the R7000 is on the same subnet, but I can't be sure.

Is the R6080 is router or AP mode?
