No Internet.

Used for a few years with no problem.
Stopped working and after factory reset it says....Access Type- No Internet Connection.
After a number of hours I cannot get past the 'No Internet' response.
It is listed correctly with the router and other devices offering connections.
Advice Please.

Have managed to connect all the devices directly (WiFi) to the router.
Will try and persevere with the extender but have ordered a new one in the meantime.
I get the impression that they are not particularly reliable long term so perhaps I have been lucky for the past 5 years.
Very grateful for your assistance,,,Thank you.

Re: No Internet.
What router do you have?
what firmware is on the extender?
when you're setting it up, are you using the wps method of installation or the installation assistant?

Re: No Internet.
BTHub6-5WNM.
Sorry, how do I check the firmware?
Used the wps method.
My setup.
1 PC near router with ethernet cable.
Second PC with WiFi dongle..... Does connect WiFi direct to the router but weakish signal....no WiFi connection to Extender.
Smart TV.....direct WiFi to router.
Android smart phones....no WiFi connection to extender.
Printers.....no WiFi connection to extender.
All up to date Windows 10.

Re: No Internet.
Correct the highlighted errors and try again.
- Post flooding detected (community received posts of a unique message more than 1 times within 3,600 seconds)
I also seem to have problems finding my thread and then posting!
I have factory reset the extender and connected to a PC with an ethernet cable.
Tried to connect to it with the correct address...(Typed it in but the site obviously doesn't like it!)....but unfortunately it won't connect.
I do have the latest firmware downloaded.

Re: No Internet.
Unfortunately I am getting nowhere.
Even getting here isn't simple...as I have to go to Community then find my subscriptions the the actual thread....'Authentication' problem.
Opened my laptop this morning to follow the video instructions on my WiFi PC (log in directly to the router)
The laptop gets the 'No Internet' message when I try and log in whereas my PC gets the internet OK.
Perhaps I need a new extender and start from scratch!
