Nursing home WiFi signals and strength
Hello -
A very good friend has been in a nursing home and will be there for sometime recuperating and getting well. There is WiFi throughout the property and she is still trying to determine where the routers are. Her signal is intermittent and generally weak to medium. At times it has been strong.
I am going to purchase her a WiFi extender and do not know which type to purchase and do not know about the security precautions, if any.
Please advise. Joshua

Re: Nursing home WiFi signals and strength
My advise? Check with the nursing home. Depending on the nursing homes setup, you might not be able to add an extender as the wifi network might be a business class setup.
They might not know if it can be added but potentially they can point you to the person who manages that IT setup and can help you out.
