Outside Coverage

Hi, I have an AX8 and it is in my office inside my house.  How do I boost the signal to reach outside on my patio at the back.  Previously I had an Apple Airport Express working with an Apple Time machine and it just plugged and played.

 

Can I just plug that in?  Do I need something else from Netgear?

    You have a hardwired connection ran out there?

    If so, you could use a range extender or router in AP mode. Or you could just use a range extender in extender mode.

      Thanks, I am picking up an AC1900 range extender this morning.  Hopefully that does the job.
