You don't put which d-link powerline devices. It depends on which standard the powerline devices use. the PLP2000 is homeplug av2 compliant which means it works with HomePlug AV and HomePlug GreenPHY devices. Keep in mind that they'll operate at the slowest devices speeds. here's a good write up from smallnetbuilder that talks about speeds and interoperability.
