Only way to get Green or Amber Pick a Plug is to plug into same receptical. All other recepticals are Red! What am I doing wrong? All WALL Recepticals, no power strips or cords.
Its probably nothing your doing wrong. Its probably an issue with your home/setup.
Powerline devices and systems are sensitive to interference. And many things can add interference.
These include:
Old/bad wiring
electronics going bad that inject interference
cheaply made electronics (especially cell phone chargers)
high draw appliances
arc fault circuits
gfci outlets/surge protectors
Basically many things can inject interference into the system. If they work on the same outlet/circuit, it tends to indicate something in the home or the home itself is causing issues with powerline. Your home might not be one that works well with powerline.
Or you can troubleshoot. That usually involves going around and unplugging a lot of devices to see if you can find out whats causing issues. And it gets more complicated if it isn't just one device thats adding interference.
