Pass MR1100 connectivity to router as WAN via Ethernet port?

I have a 4G MR1100 and a working WiFi connection. I also have a Peplink MAX Transit router with a second, working WiFi connection. I currently pull the MR1100 WiFi in as "WiFi as WAN" to the Peplink, and connect devices to the Peplink (it does its magic to use both providers). Can I use the ethernet port on the MR1100 instead, and connect the two via hardwire instead of WiFi? I see that you can use the port for connectivity to the MR1100, but can it go in the other direction? Put another way, I'd like the Peplink to use the MR1100 as a modem. Thanks!

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems

Those things are very different from the standard Netgear routers covered in this section.

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

Check for various troubleshooting tips.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Thanks -- I plugged in an ethernet cable and it was working.  Then I disabled timeouts for ethernet and WiFi.  I set up IP Passthrough but I'm not sure that's correct.  Either way, it's working now.
