Powerline AC1000 Wi-Fi Access Point and Adapter and Powerline 2000 compatibility

I have two Powerline 2000 units which work well providing reliable network connectivity to one area of my house, which had poor connectivity. I am wanting to get a ring floodlight which works on wireless, but my wifi signal strength for that area of the house is really poor. Ring won't connect to a poweline adapter, but I was thinking about getting a Powerline AC1000 Wi-Fi Access Point and Adapter. Will an ac1000 Wifi access point connect with my existing Powerline 2000?

    Hi Bricksteel

    Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

The powerline adapters you mentioned are HomePlug AV2 compliant.

HomePlug AV 200 Mbps, 500 Mbps, 1000 Mbps, 1200Mbps and 2000 Mbps coexist and are interoperable with each other, but at the speed of the slowest plugs.

    Regards,
