You switch the channels on the router.
You'll have to look up your specific router manual to find how to change its wifi channels. there's several BT routers.

Ok thank you: as for the speeds, before the outage I did around 30-40mbps down and 10-15up but now I do 5-15down 3-8up I also believe my router (and the routers in my area) are all on the same channels as before.
