I think I understand, from a wireless connection I got around the same (before cut) down/up (just a bit less) as I mainly got the extender for download speeds. But I did get from 20-35down wireless and around 8up
On what? The router? The extender?
did you try logging into the router to test different channels? I'd recommend 1-6-11.

I got those down/ups on the router without the extender and the extender just boosted them to 30-40down and around 10up

Or what speeds are you getting now directly from the router?
- YeetmeisterFeb 11, 2020AspirantI may have explained it badly but I’m talking about what it was before the outage; now with the extender It usually fluctuates from 0-15down but then will go to 40 and back down and it will go to around 5up but will go to 12 showing that it’s possibly capable of going back to peak but there is perhaps a hinderance

What I'd like for you to test is your phone speeds going to the router in the location that the extender is in.
- YeetmeisterFeb 12, 2020AspirantWhen my phone is next to the extender it’s speed is maximum (as in full bars on WiFi)

Use the speedtest app/program for both devices. Also make sure you're on the 2.4ghz if you're speed testing. You can't compare 2.4ghz speed to 5ghz speed.
