Proper function of LAN ports on EX7000 Range Extender in AP mode
It remains unclear if the LAN ports on an EX7000 Range Extender will function in Access Point mode due to the statement on page 19: Note: In access point mode, you can connect your computer or WiFi device to the extender only using a WiFi connection. Some users claim this feature works and some users claim is does not. If the note on page 19 of the manual is incorrect why hasn’t this been corrected?
In a previous thread on 10/10/16 DarrenM wrote, “I just tested on my ex7000 you can use the ethernet while in ap mode I will have this updated.” If that is the case then why does this error remain in the downloadable user manual? This conflict of information is preventing me from purchasing an EX7000. This needs proper clarification.
