Are you trying to connect the extender to the R6250?
You can do that. Its performance will be garbage, but you can do it.
It'll be garbage because single/dual band extender cut throughput in half.
This happens because they have to use the same wireless chip to go to router---->extender and then extender----->devices.
And they can't do both at once. So this reduces speeds in half.
And if you're already starting from the R6250 that isn't fast, it cuts an already slow speed in half.
Its going to make that extender sloooooowwwwww.......
and not at the fault of netgear but because its a bad setup.
