Re: R7300DST
What speeds do you pay for? The R7300dst is a pretty cable router and should cover that size apartment without any issues. Is it having issues? or you just wanting an upgrade?
Are you wanting to go to wifi 7? Or get one with 6ghz support?
Details are key on what you'd like and what you use it for.

Re: R7300DST
the new RS line of routers is the next generation wifi 7 devices.
If you're looking for dual band, I'd go RS200
If you want the 6ghz band, the triband RS600/RS700 are pretty darned good.
I've got an RS600 and its blazing fast.
there's a nice spreadsheet from dongknows about the specs for all 3 devices.

I'd go with the rs600 over the rs700 because the extra $200 for the rs700 isn't that worth it.
I'd look at the wifi 7 generation if you're wanting 6ghz. The RAXE500/RAXE300 weren't bad but it didn't integrate the 6ghz into its smart connect (single ssid/name).

Re: R7300DST
If you just want to try AX, there's a renewed RAX70 on amazon for $140 and its a triband (not 6ghz) AX6600 device. Fairly solid device
