Remote Desktop connections dropped? Use a good surge/spike protecting power strip!!
I am very happy with my EAX20 range extender, but had a lot of dropped connections with the Remote Desktop Connection app. Only a blip, I still had Internet connections. I thought it was an overworked sever at work?
I did an informal survey with work colleagues I was using an older power strip...I don't think it had any spike/surge protection...when i replaced that with a newer strip that was definately up for the task, suddenly no more dropped connections with the Remote Desktop Connection app!
