Setting up a WN3000RP V1H2 Wifi range extender to be utilized connected to an ethernet cable
I have a few years old WiFi range extender model WN3000RP V1H2. I am needing now to extend the range farther than the source wifi reliably reaches. I happen to also have a desktop PC (without wife broadcast capability) connected with RJ45 ethernet cable to the home's main modem router, model C3000. If I cable connect the range extender to the port hub near the PC, is there a way to configure the range extender to boradcast wifi for other wireless devices nearby? (I've searched and read a few posts here, but they were not for this exact model number and the comments and instructions were not specific enough for me...) Thanks,

Re: Setting up a WN3000RP V1H2 Wifi range extender to be utilized connected to an ethernet cable
Fosforus,
Thanks for the reply with the orignal product pdfs. It looks like the product still won't do what I was hoping: to extend the reach of my wifi by having an ethernet cable allow me to locate the extender farther away from the router than its wifi signal can go. I think I will have to buy some of those units that send the wifi through the house AC wiring to remote transmitters.
Thanks,
Ken
