Setting up an N300 Wifi Extender

I am trying to set up my wifi extender with a new router and when I click the WPS button after the power light has turned green, the power light is supposed to flash. Instead, the WPS light is flashing. What should I do to fix this?

    I would setup using the installation assistant and not wps. Wps can get coded different between device makers and that can cause issues. If its not setting up properly with wps, then use the installation assistant
