Setup hangs when connecting to Universal WiFi Range Extender WN2000RPT

Hi,

I cannot connect my extender to the router. When I do the wizard my computer hangs as soon as it names the new router. The link light is not on at all during setup?

I have an Apple computer - will that affect it?

We have been at this for days - not sure what else to do?

    What router are you connecting the extender to? 

    What firmware is on the extender? 

    Are you using the installation assistant or WPS?

    Which link light? device or router?
