Slowwwww AC1200 EX6200
My Wifi extender is very very slow. I used 3 different internet speed testers.
My main wifi showed the following results:
a) Down 129.5 Up 35.2
b) Down 165.5 Up 185.1
c) Down 165.99 Up 156.45
However my Wifi Ext'd AC1200 showed these results using the same testers:
a) Down 10.0 Up 0.2
b) Down 14.48 Up 5.76
c) Down 11.59 Up 0.19
These results are after I did a firmware update.
My Wifi Ext'd is 15 feet away from my router. I moved it there today because it was so slow when I had it about 25 feet away.
I noticed the problem when my cellphone showed both the Wifi symbol and the 4g symbol.
I am not allowed to change the channel number because it is grayed out.

Re: Slowwwww AC1200 EX6200
What router are you running? Firmware on it?
How are you testing this? (website)
Are you connecting via 2.4ghz/5ghz? 2.4ghz is more sensative to interference as it has lower bandwidth then 5ghz.
Using fastlane?
Device testing with?
Anytime you do a firmware update, its best to do over an ethernet connection and to reset the device afterwards. I'd start by reloading the firmware (in case it was corrupt) and resetting the device.
Another thing to check is your wifi channel. maybe there's some interfernce on the channel you're using. A simple wireless channel switch can sometimes help. I know you said its grayed out. You change it on your primary router and the extender uses that same channel.
