SoftTree scam

Hi I spoke to Netgear last Fri 18th, they said they would ring me back later that day. Then about 6pm that evening whom we thought were netgear were softtree scam, I cannot believe we spent nearly 2 hours trying to get the Orbi back on line in which they did but had to pay $149.99. arrggghh, i wish i had seen these posts earlier.  Now our Orbi has gone offline line again, not happy with Netgear at all trying to get help is a nightmare.

1. Its not netgears fault you didn't go through support properly and got a scam site. 

2. To get a hold of support. Click on "MyNetgear" at the top.
Register an account (or login) and then the device.
From there you can start the support process. Keep in mind that its only free for the first 90 days.

3. If you're wanting help on the forums, more details are key. Like firmware on router/satellite, modem its connected to, a better description of the problem ("going offline, doesn't tell us anything)
