Spectrum stops support AC1200 extender
After my Spectrum router was updated the AC1200 range extender stopped working. The problem is the mac address doesn't seem to generate and IP in the spectrum system. Their advance setting won't allow you to manually add the extender mac or IP so after 2 days I searched the web. Yes SPECTRUM WILL NOT CONNECT to this extender any more. I assume they want to 'rent' you their extenders. Their support seems to play dumb on this issue. Recommendations are use a mesh router with extenders.

Re: Spectrum stops support AC1200 extender
Did you set it up using the push button WPS option?
If so, factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant.
To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
Here's a video of how to use the assistant.
