The extender is not showing up on my network

Good Evening, 

My extender is showing that is working but is not showing on the list of available networks on my TV.  How do I solve this

    You have the EX6250? 

    What firmware is on it? 

    What router is it connected to? 
    Did you set it up using wps or the installation assistant? 

    Did you set it up in mesh mode (onessid)? 
    If you set it up using wps or using mesh, it uses the same ssid as the router and devices automatically roam between it and the router's ssid as needed. So you won't "see" it as a seperate network.
