Trouble setting up NETGEAR AC1900 WiFi Mesh Extender
I have tried every way I am aware of to get this to work but it hasn’t. Firstly I’m unsure if the LEDS should light up in a certain order when first plugged in but for me it seems to be a weird order(I am not sure if this is an issue or not). I have tried factory resetting multiple times but the order goes: power LED (amber) -> WFS LED(green) -> client link LED (amber) -> power LED AND client link LED change to green. When watching tutorials this never seems to be the order for anyone else.
The router link never turns on.
I tried the method to connect with the nighthawk app but it always says it cannot connect to the wifi extender. I look through my settings as well to see if I can connect directly myself but I cannot find the network so the app doesn’t work.
I then tried the method to connect with WPS, I press the button on the device and then on my router and it continues to blink then goes back to a solid green and the router link LED remains off.
Any assistance is appreciated thank you!
