Trying to set up a Netgear Wifi Extender
Have pushed the WPS buttons on extender and then router. All that ever happens is the WPS LED lights solid white and the 2.4 GHz lights solid white. No Link Status LED light at all. I have re-set my modem/router and devices, just in case, but no help. Cannot find any help on Netgear website.

Re: Trying to set up a Netgear Wifi Extender
You can try hardwiring into the extender and setting up this way. Little more complicated than doing it with wps but sometimes it works better. Plus then you can update the firmware on it over a hardwired connection :). So basically plug into it, go to mywifiext.net, and go through the setup procedure.
Here's your manual, installation guide, and firmware

What firmware is it currently on?
Router you're connecting it to? Firmare on it?
