Two N-wireless routers in series

I have the following two wireless routers. The 3300 is the base unit with the 3500 located at a distance as remote unit. Everything works fine, accept that the remote unit will hang on an IP address and the ethernet connection at base unit needs to be reset in order to get internet access again in remote area.

Please advise...thanks.

Re: Two N-wireless routers in series

Cables run from cable modem to wan on 3300, then 3300 lan to 3500 lan via netgear powerline adapter.

Re: Two N-wireless routers in series

Works great on initial setup and use. But when I later try to reconnect from remote unit, there is no internet access without unplugging lan cable between two units from one lan port to another lan port on the base unit.
