Re: Unable to access ex6150v2

What are the leds on it doing? (all of them, color/blinking/solid/etc)

You can try recovering it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10

and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9DLrLQrpaw

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash
https://github.com/jclehner/nmrpflash

Re: Unable to access ex6150v2

tftp didnt work and instructions for nmprflash seem to be for a router and not extender so not sure how to proceed.

i get to the advertising server on nmrpflash but nothing after that. Do I have to set compter to static ip first?

Re: Unable to access ex6150v2

What error do you get on the nmrpflash setup? theres a faq on their site.

also, is it within warranty?

you could open an RMA cast if it is.

Re: Unable to access ex6150v2

I get the advertising NMRP server and then just disconnects.  hard to follow directions on site since most are for routers and not extenders. no longer under warranty

Re: Unable to access ex6150v2

If you can't get tftp/nmrpflash to work, then your device might be bricked. You can try forcing firmware to it through a serial port but that'd require buying parts to do so and finding a guide. not for the faint of heart
