Unable to connect wifi extender to router

Unable to connect wifi extender to router
Looking for,some help have tried unsuccessfully to install N300 wi if range extender onto my ac1200 router. Are they not compatible? There is no WPS button on the router, and I can't seem to,get it to connect to my router.

What are these devices? AC1200 and N300 are wifi speed indicators. They are not Netgear model numbers. Look on the side for those.

You have posted your mesage in the WiFi Adapters section of thbis forum. Does that mean that one of these things as a WiFi USB Adapter?

@michaelkenward is correct - Model numbers (including manufacturer if the router isn't Netgear's) are needed for us to help.
