Unreliable operation of extender model EX6120
Extender works fine for a couple of hours then disconnects from the device. Router connection stays OK
Needs to be turned off and on and then the TV (which has defaulted to the direct router connection provining an unacceptable service) needs to be reset to the extender address.
A real pain part way through a movie

Re: Unreliable operation of extender model EX6120
Firmware on the extender?
What router is it connected to?
Do both 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands drop?
Was the extender setup using wps?

Factory reset the extender and re-run setup using the installation assistant. Don't use wps.
the virgin hub has issues with their wps setup process and extenders.

Re: Unreliable operation of extender model EX6120
The issue is not the connection to the router- that seems fine. It is with the device, a TV
Does that affect your suggestion?

Re: Unreliable operation of extender model EX6120
No. wps negotaties the settings for what the extender should run. If its not properly setup in the ISP supplied device, it causes issues.
So try factory resetting and reinstalling using the installation assistant.
